• Church Organization Data: Church name, branch locations, denomination hierarchy, subdomain slug.
• Member Records (Processed on Church Instructions): Member directory records, family links, attendance dates, prayer requests.
• Financial Transaction Data: Donation amounts, payment gateway reference tokens, transfer records (note: ONYI does not store full credit card PANs or CVVs).
• Technical & Device Information: IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, and cookie preferences.

2. How We Use Information

We utilize collected information to:

1. Provision and deliver ONYI church management features.
2. Facilitate member check-in, attendance analytics, and growth reporting.
3. Manage church giving, financial accounts, and pledge tracking.
4. Deliver authorised SMS and email notifications on behalf of the church.
5. Provide customer support, platform troubleshooting, and feature updates.
6. Safeguard platform security, prevent unauthorized access, and satisfy regulatory requirements.

3. The Church's Role as Data Controller

When churches enter member and financial information into ONYI, the church is the Data Controller responsible for establishing a lawful basis for processing (such as consent or legitimate religious organizational interests). Church members seeking to update, view, or delete their records should contact their local church administrator.

4. Data Sharing & Zero-Sale Commitment

ONYI DOES NOT SELL CHURCH MEMBER PERSONAL DATA TO ADVERTISERS OR THIRD PARTIES.

Data is shared only with trusted infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, SMS gateways, payment processors) necessary to operate the services under strict data processing agreements.

5. Security & Retention

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized disclosure or loss. Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the operational, contractual, and legal purposes described herein.
